OKR Financial joins Communitech Pro Squad to inject early stage investment in Waterloo Region’s innovation ecosystem

This month, OKR Financial announced its partnership with Communitech’s Pro Squad, to provide entrepreneurs in the Waterloo Region with non-dilutive funding solutions. Both founded by experienced Canadian entrepreneurs, Communitech shares in OKR Financial’s vision of promoting and developing  new generations of founders in Canada. As a part of Communitech’s Pro Squad, OKR Financial will collaborate with the organization on virtual events by providing thought leadership and actively engaging with the Communitech ecosystem. Through this initiative, OKR will be able to support startups and scale-ups as they navigate venture debt and leverage government fundings such as SR&ED tax credits as well as  various types of other government funding programs. 

OKR Financial’s experience in working with early and growth stage companies, positions it to provide expert guidance on how to utilize grant and debt investments. Founders can meet OKR Financial in regular learning seminars to learn about alternative financing options; helping unveil paths for startups to raise capital. OKR financial will also provide regular mentorship sessions to individual founders.
