We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Haltech, one of 17 regional innovation centres in Ontario that is dedicated to supporting startups in the Haltech region. OKR Financial will lead education sessions, support events and provide financing to startups in Haltech’s community.
Events include regular learning seminars about venture debt, leveraging and navigating government funding programs, and helping discover channels for startups to successfully acquire capital investments. Participating in the #Hi5 Pitch Competition allows us at OKR to share our knowledge of finance with entrepreneurs, who can also find us through weekly 1:1 mentorship sessions for continued guidance.
Haltech’s focus on female leaders participating in entrepreneurship is recognized by the startup community. As diverse and inclusive investors, OKR Financial shares Haltech’s vision of supporting women and women identified founders to realize their business’ potential.
