Startup Surrey is the newest of more than 50 communities under Startup Canada initiative and will support the city’s rapidly growing entrepreneurial community and innovation ecosystem.
As Rowena Rizzotti, VP Healthcare & Innovation at The Health and Technology District and Co-Founder of Start-Up Surrey shares, “we know that Surrey will become the largest city in British Columbia, and we know innovation happens here.”
There are more than 18,000 businesses in the City of Surrey. The OKR Financial + Startup Surrey partnership will connect those small and medium sized companies to the capital they need to grow and scale, and will also the support the active network by delivering valuable workshops, webinars, and podcasts to help achieve everyone’s goals of having these companies grow, scale, and exit.
